We are excited to announce the return of the OD Art Awards Competition in cooperation with IbizArt Guide. This year we are celebrating our seventh edition with a special theme: The Salt of Ibiza
What makes the OD Art Awards so special?
This event has established itself as a key point in Ibiza's cultural life, highlighting the link between art, culture and sustainability. We remain committed to supporting our talented local artists, and look forward to seeing how they interpret this year's theme.
What is this year's theme?
The Salt of IbizaThis essential element is not only part of our daily lives, but also has a deep historical and cultural connection to the island. We want you to show us how salt inspires your art, whether through its economic importance, its production process, its natural beauty or any other creative perspective you can imagine.
When and where?
- Date: Friday, 27 September 2024
- Time: 19:30 h
- Location: Hotel Ocean Drive Talamanca (calle Jesús, 28)
Why should you participate?
- Visibility: Exhibit your work to a diverse and passionate audience.
- Acknowledgement: It is part of a prestigious event on Ibiza's cultural agenda.
- Networking: Connect with other artists, art professionals and cultural enthusiasts.
Competition rules:
- Thematic: The works must be related to "La Sal de Ibiza", any interpretation being accepted as long as it is justified by the artist and approved by the organisers.
- Awards: First prize of €1500, second prize of €800, and third prize of €300. In case of a tie, the prize will be divided.
- Size: Maximum 110 x 110 cm. Larger works must be approved by the organisation depending on the space available.
- Deadline for participation: The deadline for confirming your participation is 15 September 2023 at 15:00h. The delivery of works will be from 25 to 26 September.
- Choice of participants: A maximum of 40 physical works and 10 in digital format will be accepted, in order of confirmation.
- Location: Ocean Drive Talamanca.
- Duration: From 27 September to 13 October.
- Transport: At the artist's expense, exempting OD Hotels from any liability for damage or loss.
- Responsibility: OD Hotels is not responsible for damages during the exhibition.
- Election of winners: A jury will select the winning entries. Their decision will be final.
- Others: Works should preferably be submitted without signature and with an identification number. Additional information can be sent by e-mail.
